About the Artist
Hi, My name is Kelly and I am a crafter at heart. I love dabbling in all manner of crafts and have done extensive crochet, collage, and mosaics projects. One craft night in 2000, I gathered together wood scraps, gingham fabric remnants, yarn, and nails..."voila", String Cheese Art was created. It began with a Swiss Slice and I quickly realized that Gouda, Brie and all iconic cheeses could be an option. One of my favorites to make is Humboldt Fog!
Utilizing my years of experience while working as a cheese monger at Rainbow Grocery in San Francisco, I leaned into my knowledge using cheese as my muse.
I display and sell my string art at craft fairs, holiday pop up markets, coffee shops and food festivals. String Cheese Art is not just for kitchens, it's a conversation starter. Every cheese loving business, cheese shop or personal gallery wall should have some String Cheese Art!
I create String Cheese Art in my hometown of Portland, Oregon, and I share and sell my work on Instagram, Facebook and now this website! Thank-you for reading and reach out if you need some String Cheese Art in your life.
